Feeling underwhelmed by the big box store wedding invitation selections?
Your love story is one of a kind, and your wedding day should reflect that. You are planning out your perfect day, so why send your guests something that is lackluster?
Have you read up on etiquette enough to feel confident that you won’t offend your new in-laws when you address their envelopes?
Are you looking to create a customized look for your envelopes but finding that commerical printing cannot print in gold ink? Or charges extra for white printing on your navy blue envelopes?

Looking for envelope addressing? Complete this questionnaire for your custom quote:
Your custom designed wedding stationery suite starts at about $1,000.00.
Your wedding day is such an important day. It is when you will be making your public declaration of love. As such, your invitation should be as unique as your love story.
To start our design process for your invitations, you will just need to complete the invitation questionniare. Since I customize in truly customized wedding invitations, the questionnaire will be the basis for your custom design quote. It just gathers information such as your wedding date and the number of invitations you are looking to send out.
With the information provided in your questionnaire, I will be able to carefully craft the custom quote. It is my goal to get it returned to you within two business days.
Upon your approval of the quote, you will receive the custom design contract and your 50% non-refundable deposit.
Once you have reserved your date, you and your fiance will receive a wedding design form. This will ask questions to get to know more about your love story, further details about your wedding day, and your visions for your invitations.
Now, we will embark on the design process for your wedding stationery.
Using the information from your wedding details form, I will put together a custom lookbook which will begin to narrow in on design themes, colors, and even the invitation wording.
With the lookbook as my guide, I will design two rounds of proofs to present to you. Your final proof will be delivered electronically, and once that is signed, I will begin full production on your invitations.
Each one will be painted and written by hand, so this process will span a few months. I will check in with you to keep you updated on the progress.
Once your custom invitations are completed, you will receive the final invoice and they will be shipped off to you.
If you are looking for custom calligraphy beyond your invitations, I’ve got you covered. Everything from your Save The Dates through your final Thank You card!
Hi there, I’m Christine and I am the calligrapher and creative of Carousel Atelier. I am a romantic at heart and a life-long daydreamer. I currently live outside of Orlando, Florida, with my husband and our daughter. When I’m not creating art, you can find me spending time in the Magic Kingdom. My love languages are spoken in sushi rolls, chocolate, and ice cream (though not all at the same time!).
I have been studying and practicing calligraphy for the better part of 20 years. Back in 1994, my Grandma gave me the first calligraphy book. I spent countless hours and days learning how to write in a beautiful style. Teaching myself how to make my handwritting look different was key to my studies throughout high school and college.
When my husband and I got married, I designed and addressed our invitations, as well as our reception name cards and our wedding sign that became our guest book. After seeing what I was capable of creating, I was asked by friends to help create unique looks for their weddings.
When I decided to open my own studio, I wanted to name it as a tribute to my Grandma, who inspired me to begin this art so many years ago. She collected carousel horses, in artwork, music boxes, and ornaments. When I think of carousels, they fill me with whimsy, with dreams, and with a sense of majesty.
